Trail of Tears
On Saturday, Sept. 21st, a group of 30 people from Underwood participated in an outreach to the Trail of Tears. The TOT is an event involving over 100,000 motorcyclers who ride to remember the suffering and loss of Indian lives when they were relocated out west. |

Upon arrival, we had 2400 bottles of water, somewhere around 15 coolers, and 50 bags of ice to get from Jerry Duke’s business to the vendor area. God had provided a refrigerated truck that Shoals Provision let us use. What seemed at first like the devil trying to discourage us, turned out to be a blessing. We just pulled the truck right up to where we were passing out water, unloaded all we needed for a while and started handing out water.

We also had 4000 tracts. One had a motorcycle and cross and was a big hit with all the ones that got them. On the back of the tract was the plan of salvation. It is amazing that, while we were there, we only saw 2 tracts on the ground. God’s word was and still is in the hands of many people that were there. We know God’s word will be used through the tracts to bring some to |

Him. We can just see some person months from now getting that leather vest out, and sticking their hand in their pocket and there is God’s word. That is all that is needed for that person to start a personal relationship with Him.
One of our members wrote:
"Also one guy I tried to give a track said no, then he ran back up and said he wasn’t anti-Christian and was sorry. I also got to talk deeply to him about Jesus. God will never let you or me down." |

Another member shared:
"I can't believe how courteous everyone was and respectful of what we were doing. People know right from wrong, people know there is something more than what’s on this earth, they just put that out of their minds and go about living in the flesh. We were able to remind them that there is more to life than what is on this earth. God allowed us to be a part of planting and watering." |

God used one group to lead an 18 year old to Christ. This one salvation made it all worthwhile.
Thank you Lord for allowing us to be a part of your plan. |
